Our in-house Research & Development department worked hard on producing the Eco CCTV Tower that makes a true difference to the carbon emissions of security systems. As a result, we were able to deliver our 100% eco-powered CCTV system with a 7m telescopic mast featuring four 5MP turret cameras, 360° coverage, a detection range of 65m, and 24/7 recording.

Following tests of various solar panels across different locations in the far north of Scotland to assess power output and battery life, we ensured that our system works even in the dark winter months.

Our Eco CCTV Tower is a finalist of the ‘OSPAs Outstanding Security Product of the Year’ award and ‘NCE TechFest: Best Use of Technology Carbon Reduction’ award, saving 99% carbon emissions or 79821.12 kg of carbon per year.

CCTV towers that are not eco-powered require batteries or generator usage, and a generator’s use varies depending on the security system in place. If a tower on site does have a storage battery but no eco-power, the generator will have to run for 8 hours and emit carbon of 26607.04 kg per year. Without a storage battery, the generator will run for 24 hours and emit 79821.12 kg of carbon per year. Our Eco CCTV does not require either and substantially saves carbon emissions, having helped our clients with over 1,000 tonnes of CO2 in 2022.
