Boarding up windows is the practice of erecting wooden boards over a problem window. We use 10mm and 12mm Oriented Strand Board (OSB), also known as sterling board, or flakeboard. OSB is a type of timber engineered explicitly for use in walls, decking, and flooring.
OSB is ideal for load-bearing and is now more widely used than plywood in the construction industry, accounting for around 60% of all structural panels, thanks to its robust performance.
